About Us

A Free Directory Built for People in Recovery

Finding safe, supportive housing shouldn't be hard or expensive. Sober Living Central was built to make that search simple, transparent, and free.

What We Do

Sober Living Central is a free directory of sober living homes, halfway houses, and recovery resources in the United States. We publish more than 2,100 public-source listings across major cities, with ratings, photos, phone numbers, addresses, and website links where those details are available.

Why We Built This

The recovery housing market is fragmented and hard to navigate. Many directories charge referral fees, hide contact information behind forms, or only show a fraction of available homes. We built Sober Living Central to fix that — a comprehensive, honest, free-to-use resource that connects people directly with the homes they need.

Every listing on this site is free to access. No sign-ups, no referral forms, no fees. You get the phone number, address, rating, and photos — and you contact the home directly.

How Our Listings Work

Most listings began with public business information. Some are submitted directly by operators. Public business data does not prove that a provider is certified, currently accepting residents, or operating as a sober living home. Ratings are third-party business ratings and are grouped into three display tiers:

Highly Rated
4.0★ or higher with 10+ third-party reviews. A rating is not a certification or endorsement.
Other Rated Listings
Other public business profiles with ratings or review history.
New & Unrated
Listings without enough public rating information to place in the other groups.

Important Disclaimer

Sober Living Central is a directory service only. We are not a treatment provider, referral service, or healthcare organization. We do not endorse, recommend, or verify the quality of any individual listing. Always conduct your own research and visit any home in person before making a decision.
